Ocean in Molong

 Molong is a rural town in Australia. Few days ago rain and storms caused huge damage to this city. Size of flood was compared to the ocean. 


Flood destroyed people’s houses, business, cars. Almost everything. People got trapped in their homes. Some of them started to panic. Owner of the hotel said that this is miracle that no one got killed. But almost every inhabitant of this city is suffering because of this natural disaster.


Similar flood happened there in 2005. Citizens are saying that calamity this year is even worse and they are scared if they could handle this again.


All natural disasters shows us how helpless people are and huge power of nature. Mother Earth tells us that we are 100% dependent on her.

resurrecting traditional architectural techniques

In 20th century there was an international template for designing cities and buildings. Too much concrete in the city concentrated heat in it but even in hot climates, people started to following this template. Buildings are now addicted to air conditioners and other method (that need energy) to cool their houses. Some architects  are working to start over traditional techniques in hot climates to keep buildings cool without using energy. Houses need to be specially designed. For example chimney which funnels air through houses that bring cool inside. This article showed me that sometimes oldfashioned  and outdated techniques are smarter than modern ones. European Union 🇪🇺

  The European Union is union between 27 countries. It population is around 447 milion of people.  The main purpose of UE is to unite all this people. To promote peace and offer freedom, security and justice to each citizen. Union care also for the environment in its area and beyond. It look after equality between men and women, rights of children and human rights. It encourage to technological and scientific development. Anthem of European Union is “Ode to Joy” composed by Ludwig Van Beethoven. Officially there is no lyrics but the message of this Ode is to all human race become brothers.  For me vision of European Union is very emotional. I’m so glad that people create something like this to unite nations.
